Busy week. The Banff Film Festival was in town for 2 nights (excellent selection of films), and I have been trying to finish off a paper and get ready for the interview in Oxford in 2 weeks time. Only one, short, talk this time, and a proper formal interview rather than just meeting with different departmental profs. Scary stuff. Plus there was the Return of the Noisy Neighbour so I haven't been sleeping very well.
The weather forecast for the weekend is rain, drizzle and greyness. Feel like I need to get out for a hike somewhere though. Luckily my leaky Mountain Hardware jacket was deemed still under warranty by the good MH people, so I will get a new shiny raincoat soon enough. Lovely.
