It was SOOOO good to get back in the pool this evening. 3 weeks of sitting around, and the tension was definitely building up. Hard work but well worth while. A pretty hefty snowstorm hit at about 6pm, with snow, freezing rain and plain rain forecast. It was snowing pretty heavily when we left the pool, freezing rain when we left the sushi joint. Weird stuff, freezing rain. It's not hail, not slush/sleet and not rain. It's pretty damn cold, feels like needles on your face, and makes the pavement treacherous.
People came round to attack my whisky collection, and now they have left the wind can be heard howling round the building. Every so often a snow plough rattles past as well. Going to be a noisy night.
