Way back in January F and I started discussing whether it was feasible to cycle from Bedford to Berlin and also whether it was sensible to do so... Fast forward 7 months and here we are, on our way.
Day 1, 47 miles to Saffron Walden and feeling knackered!! Well I am, F is 'bouncing' round the lake and also did Parkrun this morning.
We're camped in a lovely rustic field by a fishing lake- a tap and a toilet in a shed are the only facilities. The pub is 200m down the road though!
Tomorrow on to Harwich. In the rain I fear.....
